Guild Charter (scroll and text)
Our guild charter (besides just looking cool!) describes the overall purpose of the group – “to practice and promote the woodland arts and sciences; educate and
guide others in these skills; and be prepared at all times to aid
those in need of safety, hospitality, or shelter in the woodland
places of the Realm”. Being chartered makes the Forestry Guild a little more “official” (although guilds are unofficial structures in the eyes of the Society) in that the Crown has recognized our mission.
The bylaws describe the details of how the guild actually runs – processes for joining, for earning ranks, the responsibilities of different officers, etc. Not the most thrilling read, but probably good to look through if you are seriously thinking about joinining!
The progression summary includes selected information from the guild bylaws with respect to joining the guild, skills needed for particular ranks, etc.
For more details, see the bylaws above.
A document describing the different guild ranks and officer positions, as well as information about the Guild houses.

If you decide to join the guild, you will need to fill out and submit our application
Skills demonstration checklist
While not required, this checklist may be useful for members who demonstrate skills required for advancement over the course of multiple events to different guild officers. Members are responsible for the safekeeping of their own checklist, and loss of a partially completed checklist may require skills to be demonstrated again.
Also available in a fancy version (best printed on faux-parchment paper)
