So you’ve decided to check out the forestry guild, what now?
1) Join us on facebook!
- Or not! With recent changes to facebook privacy and group settings, we are working to move more information to our website.
2) Submit an application and learn about member progression.
- Or not! You are welcome to just hang out with us at events or in the gateway facebook group.
- If you are not in Atlantia, you can apply to join as an affiliate member, or you look for foresters in your own kingdom!
3) Look through past and join current challenges
- Or not! It is up to you whether you want to participate officially (after putting in your application) in any challenges or just work on some activities for your own enjoyment.
- Past challenges are also a great way to get a better understanding of the guild’s focus or find some inspiration for guild-related projects!
4) After 90 days probation, you can take the oath to officially join the Kingdom of Atlantia Royal Forestry Guild.
- Or not! Some members choose not to take the oath and are known as “Independent Foresters”. They cannot advance in rank, hold office, or vote on guild matters, but they are still valued members of the guild!
- Members out of the kingdom are unable to take the oath (which, in part, involves swearing to follow the laws of Atlantia) and so may remain affiliate members.
5) After you have given your oath, you are given the rank of novice and have the opportunity to advance to higher ranks by displaying skills, if you wish.
